This is a great classic that has taken five decades to develop. The outside resembles a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette, however underneath the unique bodywork lies a 2006 Corvette Z06. All of the famous design lines are complemented by an updated LS7 V8, a sophisticated sports suspension, and every modern convenience imaginable.
If you’ve been following the Corvette scene, you’re already familiar with custom Corvettes. This limited-production, six-figure wonder combined a modern drivetrain with the Sting Ray body of your dreams. And because these were constructed by hand, they took their time getting it right. Thus, the panels have an excellent fit and provide the C2‘s signature sharp crease throughout the entire body. And as you examine the nuances more closely, you’ll fall in love with them. Two-piece chrome bumpers resembling mirrors, fuel injection badging, flip-up headlights, and, of course, the ’63-exclusive split back window. Additionally, this one takes some liberties with the design. After all, the ’63 lacked the larger blocks, but this one justifies its stinger hood with the amount of power beneath.
And the triple taillight package was a fantastic way to indicate that you owned a bespoke Corvette back in the day. Additionally, practical features such as the brake cooling ducts and massive Z06 wheels are retained, ensuring that this classic vehicle remains a modern performance behemoth.

While the exterior looks classic, the interior is all about performance and comfort. Although the C2 was equipped with several great features at the time, like as power windows and an AM/FM stereo, this example demonstrates what nearly a half-century of progress feels like. The unique leather bucket seats on this Z06 provide the ideal blend of racing car bolstering and all-day comfort cushioning. This original engine has been upgraded with improved Lingenfelter cams and heads, as well as headers feeding the X-pipe dual exhaust. The result improves on the best by 7%, delivering 541 horsepower to the tires.

The 1963 Corvette engine lineup includes three carbureted models with 250, 300, and 340 horsepower, as well as a 360-horsepower fuel-injected powerhouse engine available for an additional $443.40.
Corvette began using advanced materials in 1953 when the first Corvettes were built entirely of fiberglass. Since then, every Corvette has featured a body constructed entirely of composite materials. Harley Earl, the famed designer, originally contemplated using fiberglass, the lightweight, rust-proof composite material, for a General Motors car.
In 1963, a total of 10,594 split-window coupes were produced. Corvette manufacturing totaled 21,513 units for the year, with the convertible accounting for half of that total. The 1963 coupe featured purely ornamental and non-functional hood vents.
